Dear MECA members,
The Election Commission of MECA is pleased to inform you that 22 Nomination Papers (President – 1NP, VP – 2 NPs, GS – 1 NP, Treasurer – 1 NP and member – 17 NPs) have been received by the Electon Commission within the stipulated time. However, after scrutiny, three Nomination Papers of the Candidates for Member have been found without photograph; as such they have been declared incomplete and invalid.
Under the circumstances the number of candidates equals the number of EC Positions for Election.
Thus the Election Commission deems to understand that there is no scope for holding Election.
The formal declaration will be made during the AGM on Oct 5th, 2018.
